One in Eight people on this planet do not have access to SAFE ,CLEAN, drinking water. That’s a fact.
Now,The Macallan in cooperation with the non-profit organisation named “charity:water” are doing something to change that. I am sure you’ve hard in the past about the Macallan Lalique 64 year old, which is auctioned and had raised $605,000 last year for that just cause. The Decanter which was beautifully crafted raised about $460,000 and the 10cl samples were $41,000 each. Impressive.
Of course those amounts are far beyond me, and you my readers (If not, good for you!).
The Macallan have a final 10cl sample available to one of the readers of their blog, priced at $5,000. Now this is a whole lot less than the 41,000 they fetched last year…
I know this is not cheap, but if you have some rich friends,or you won the lotter , you know what to do.
