Whisky Round Table #24 – What makes for a positive distillery tour experience?

This month’s whisky RT hosted by Peter from “the casks” blog deals with distillery tours and what makes them fun enjoyable and memorable. the question was  :

What makes for a positive distillery tour experience? How much of a role does the visitor centre play in the experience? The access to the facility? The distillery manager or tour guide?

Having just returned from my first trip to Scotland to visit distilleries…it’s safe to say visiting distilleries is on my mind. I’m guessing we’ve all done a bit of distillery visiting, be it to Scotch behemoths or small American craft distillers, what has made these visits a positive experience for you?

You can read what the fellow whisky knights had to say about that, and of course we encourage you to join the conversation and comment, and let us know what do you like in a distillery visit. Read everything HERE.

Enjoy!
