Breaking News: Israeli Whisky Taxes to be reformed soon!

taxcut

Happy April fools day!

Breaking news!

It’s not been communicated yet, but my sources are telling me that the end of the Israeli Draconic taxes is near.

In a recent meeting of the taxes committee of the Knesset (Israeli Parliament), Prime minister Netanyahu asked for an immediate reduction of Taxes on Single Malt Whisky (which is now around 200%!) , to about 30%,which in turn will result in a huge reduction of Whisky prices in Israeli liquor shops.

This measure is meant to uplift Netanyahu’s image and popularity among the Israeli public (which has reached rock bottom in previous months). The tax reduction will bring whisky prices down to the same level as in the EU/ UK.

I am already planning a lot of purchases with the new prices.

Happy times!

Slainte!
